Romeo & Juliet-- Romantic Melody of Panpipe

| Graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1985, Du Cong entered |
| Shanghai Traditional Music Orchestra in the same year and was later |
| transferred to Shanghai Dance and Opera Troupe to be a dizi soloist until now. |
| Du Cong studied dizi under great masters Lu Chunling and Zhao Songting. |
| He has laid a firm foundation in music and achieved great success in dizi, xiao, |
| bawu, hulusi and xindi. He has formed a unique style and is extremely tender, |
| gentle, easy and expressive in rendering his paixiao music, and is known as |
| "Prince of Panpipe", accordingly. |
| Du Cong has visited many countries and regions as a soloist. He has been in |
| Holland, Belgium, France and Hong Kong. He was recorded in over 10 CD |
| recordings and has performed the title music for many films and TV series. |
| Du Cong is currently a member of China Musicians' Association and Shanghai |
| Musicians' Society. |
