This solo xun album of Zhang Wei-liang is the first xun solo album around the world, issued in 1997. W.L. Zhang is a famous flute musician as well as educator in China. He is now professor of Chinese Music Conservatory. This CD collects 9 pieces of Zhang's expressive xun playing, accompanied by human voices, hand drums, percussions, pipa to achieve diversified moods and atmospheres. |
