Gemshorns in Different Keys

| These Manchurian gemshorns are made by a Manchurian old man. The gemshorn has a long history and it was used to similate animal sounds to trap preys. Later more finger holes were added to enable melody playing. A mouth piece is added on the top of the horn. The structure and playing method of the gemshorn are similar to that of an ocarina. But the sound is more mellow. | |
