Horn Bili

Horn bili is a wind instrument of Yi minority group.

It is a vertical reed instrument. The flute is made of mahogony wood. The mouth piece is made of a piece of reed. The end of the pipe is fixed with a cow's horn as resonance box.

There are 7 finger holes.

Tone range: about one octave.

It is available in the key of G.

Bright and blissful sound. Large volume. Suitable for playing expressive pieces.
